Barber Required Hours: 1650, Apprenticeship 2000

Reciprocity: Yes, must have completed 1650 hours. Alaska will grant credit for work experience. (500 hours for each year in the field)

Message Therapy
As of January 1, 2007, the state of Alaska does not regulate massage therapy. However, regulation of massage therapy may occur at the local level. Please verify with your local health or licensing board regarding certification.
